Terms and conditions for using Pomocore services
Effective Date: July 4, 2025
These terms and conditions aim to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the company and users regarding the use of the Focus service (hereinafter referred to as 'Service') provided by Focus (hereinafter referred to as 'Company').
The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows.
Refers to all productivity management and time tracking related services provided by the company.
Refers to members and non-members who receive services provided by the company under these terms.
Refers to a user who has entered into a service use agreement with the company and has been assigned a user ID.
Refers to a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member and approved by the company for member identification and service use.
Refers to a combination of letters or numbers set by the member to verify that they are the member who matches the assigned ID.
① The company shall post the contents of these terms on the initial screen of the service so that members can easily know them.
② The company may amend these terms within the scope that does not violate related laws such as the Consumer Protection Act in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
③ When the company amends the terms, it shall notify the application date and reasons for amendment along with the current terms on the service initial screen from 7 days before the application date to the day before the application date.
④ Members have the right to refuse amended terms. Members may express their refusal within 15 days after the amended terms are announced. If a member refuses, the company may terminate the contract with that member.
① Establishment of Use Agreement
The use agreement is concluded when a person who wants to become a member (hereinafter 'applicant') agrees to the terms and applies for membership, and the company approves such application.
② Membership Application
The applicant applies for membership by entering member information according to the membership form determined by the company and expressing intention to agree to these terms.
③ Approval of Membership Application
The company approves membership applications unless they fall under any of the following cases.
- When the applicant has previously lost membership qualifications under these terms
- When not using real name or using another person's name
- When false information is provided or required information is not provided
- When a minor under 14 has not obtained consent from legal guardian
- When registration as a member is deemed to cause significant technical difficulties for the company
① Members can view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management screen.
② When information provided during membership application changes, members must modify it online or notify the company of such changes via email or other methods.
③ The company is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from failure to notify the company of changes mentioned in paragraph 2.
① Provision of Services
The company provides the following services:
- Time tracking and productivity analysis services
- Focus measurement and analysis services
- Personal productivity reports
- Other services that the company additionally develops or provides to members through partnership agreements with other companies
② Change of Services
The company may change all or part of the services provided according to operational and technical needs when there are substantial reasons.
③ Service Usage Hours
Services are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. However, the company may divide services into certain ranges and separately designate available hours for each range.
The company may restrict service use in stages through warnings, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, etc. when members violate obligations under these terms or interfere with normal service operation.
Usage may be restricted in the following cases:
- Misappropriation of others' information
- Impersonating company executives, employees, or related personnel
- Infringement of intellectual property rights of the company, other members, or third parties
- Distribution of obscene or violent content
- Transmission of large amounts of information for the purpose of disrupting stable service operation
- Other illegal or improper acts
Users must not engage in the following acts:
- Registration of false information when applying or making changes
- Misappropriation of others' information
- Modification of information posted by the company
- Transmission or posting of information other than that designated by the company (such as computer programs)
- Infringement of copyrights and other intellectual property rights of the company and other third parties
- Acts that damage the reputation of the company and other third parties or interfere with their business
- Publication or posting of obscene or violent messages, images, sounds, or other information contrary to public order and morals
- Use of services for commercial purposes without company consent
- Other illegal or improper acts
① Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by the company belong to the company.
② Users must not use information with intellectual property rights belonging to the company obtained through service use for commercial purposes through reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without prior approval from the company, or allow third parties to use it.
③ When the company uses copyrights belonging to users according to agreements, it must notify the relevant users.
① Member Termination
Members may terminate the use agreement through membership withdrawal whenever they do not wish to use the service.
② Company Termination
The company may terminate the use agreement when members fall under any of the following reasons:
- Registration of false information when applying for membership
- Interfering with others' service use or misappropriating their information, threatening e-commerce order
- Using services to engage in acts prohibited by laws or these terms or contrary to public order and morals
① The company is not liable for damages incurred by users in connection with the use of free services. However, cases due to the company's intent or gross negligence are excluded.
② The company is not liable for damages incurred by users in connection with service use due to users' intent or negligence.
③ When damages occur to the company due to users' violation of these terms, the violating user must compensate for all damages incurred by the company.
① The company is exempted from responsibility for service provision when services cannot be provided due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
② The company is not responsible for service use disruptions due to users' attributable causes.
③ The company is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of information, materials, and facts posted by users in relation to the service.
④ The company is exempted from responsibility when users engage in transactions through the service with each other or with third parties.
① The company establishes and operates a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to compensate for damages.
② The company prioritizes processing complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, when prompt processing is difficult, we immediately notify users of the reasons and processing schedule.
③ When users request damage relief in relation to e-commerce disputes between the company and users, we may follow mediation by dispute mediation organizations commissioned by the Fair Trade Commission or city/provincial governors.
① Korean law applies to these terms and service use agreements between the company and users.
② When lawsuits are filed regarding disputes arising from service use, they shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
These terms shall take effect from July 4, 2025.
